Chef Darryl Fletcher - North America Corporate Chef for Aqua Star

Darryl Fletcher began his career pursuit by graduating the Chef De Partie Course at Humber College in 1983. Chef Darryl apprenticed under Chef Roberto Arissa at Donato’s Italian Bistro in Toronto, before moving back to his hometown of Kitchener.

After positions with various establishments Chef Darryl accepted a position on M & M Meat Shops’ New Store Development Team, where he spent three and a half years traveling across Canada.

Longing to get back in the kitchen, Chef Darryl moved to the position of Sous Chef at Frankies Restaurant in Orillia, Ontario. A year later, Chef Darryl was recruited for the position of Executive Chef for the Weber’s Restaurants chain.

Chef Darryl took on the role as Corporate Chef for Total Focus Food Brokers in 2001, before accepting the position of Corporate Chef with Toppits Foods Ltd. In this prestigious role, Darryl designed recipes for their website and assisted in product development. It was at this time that Chef Darryl began teaching started teaching the “What’s For Dinner Program” for Loblaws and Zehrs.

Today, as Corporate Chef for Aqua Star, Chef Darryl’s responsibilities include new product development and the creation of recipes for their website: www.aquastar.com.
